Poem : LIME STONE CAVES (40)

Seeping down

trickling through the crevices

the rainwater dissolves the rock

it becomes a 'saturated solution'

however

it pierces vertical swallow holes

running along the width and height

from a mere cranny to a great vault

a weak place in the water

may cut another vertical chasm

to resume horizontal course

some distance below
