Skhizein is a short animation film that I saw at the Leeds film festival 2008. Its French director Jeremy Clapin, plays on typically French existentialist themes with the condemned freedom of the self, and the pursuit for objectivity, which inevitably takes the protagonist into a realm of 'universal transcendence'.
A beautiful animation and concept.
